How Can You Give Back?

Wondering what you can do to support your community and help make a difference? Its simple! Many of our brothers, sisters and children in the community go without the necessary items needed to survive daily. Our mission at WTC has always been to provide those resources by way of your support. No donation is too small or too big and every contribution counts towards the relief of another in need. WTC strives to focus on 4 major annual events, in which we call out to our supporters to assist in the stock of supplies needed to make these projects successful.

Here are 5 ways you can make a difference and give back to your community through WTC:

1) Donate items needed for specific events & drives
2) Contribute monetary donations to support project expenses
3) Volunteer your time to assist at events
4) Sponsor an event via your product, service or business
5) SPREAD THE WORD!

In addition to partnering with other ministries in support of the community year round, WTC hosts 4 main events annually. We are always appreciative of any assistance, support, volunteer help and donations from you to help make our main events successful in giving back. Check out our annual mission below:

Praise Your Way back To School / Health Fair - This celebration is to collect back packs and school supplies that will help our youth be prepared for school. This celebration hosts a variety of activities and services for the whole family including games, givaways, snacks and a supply drive

Keep Raleigh Warm - New Blankets , gently used hats gloves, scarves and coats are collected to help prepare the homeless for the cold winter season. These items are collected and given out to those on the streets and in shelters. This service is ongoing throughout the winter months.

Christmas In The Community - Women That Care collects gifts, toys, food and take the Christmas celebration to a low income community to bring joy to the children that may not be as fortunate as others. Donations are always being accepted.

WTC Survival Kits - Donations are accepted to fill up the survival kits with snacks, and toiletries to help those in need of daily survival items such as tooth brushes, tampons, wash clothes, soap, non perishable snack items and more. Donations for theses bags are taking year round.
